You will find that within your report, there will be a lot of un-hidden lines when you run the PDF report to view, this is because those boxes haven't been filled in by no text due to nothing else needing to be noted. Therefore these lines are easily hide-able. You will see in each room just underneath the room title there is a button called 'Hide Empty Items' if you select this, all lines within that room will no longer be visible/seen when running the report. For each room you have to do this, as just doing it once won't automatically hide the other empty lines in the other rooms.
