You can add a new line item to your Inventory template within the 'Report Editor'

From the Home dashboard and under the heading 'Operations' select 'All Jobs' 


Select your Job from the list and from the Job Details screen select 'Report Editor' from the tabs at the top of the screen.


In the 'Report Editor' select 'Rooms' from the left hand side of the screen.

Click on your selected room 

To add a new line item use the 'Add Item' button located at the bottom of the screen directly under the last Inventory item

A window will appear to enter a new item.

Select 'Type' – choose from the drop down options; 
  • Sub Heading 1 (this is a main Item heading (such as WALLS)
  • Sub Heading 2 (such as FIXTURES)
  • Room item (such as ‘wall mounted thermostat).

Label / text – this is a free text field, where you can insert the name of your heading or item (eg; Walls).

Insert the Room Item – you can specify exactly where you want to place the new line item i.e. before or after another room line item.

Room Item – in conjunction with the placement chooser, this determines where in the inventory it will be inserted (see example below)

Click 'Save'
